Sol Ring , Arcane Signet, and the Temple of the False God are almost always the first three cards worth putting in

Id maybe argue Bastion of Remembrance as the all-star, seeing as its harder to remove, but its nowhere near as cool and interesting as Marionette Master

This is a distinct metagame, with its own rules and structures

(It's not a creature.) If an ability triggers whenever an opponent loses life and its effect causes you to gain life, such as the ability of Exquisite Blood, this will loop until either you win the game or a player takes an action to break the loop

Plus, it doesn't remove itself from the game so you can get it back with Regrowth, Yawgmoth's Will, and other graveyard recursion cards (including Gaea's Blessing, further down on this list)
